👘 What is the Kitano Tanabata Matsuri?The "Kitano Tanabata Matsuri" (Star Festival) is held every summer at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.The shrine grounds are adorned with vibrantly colored Tanabata paper decorations swaying in the wind, and the entire area is illuminated in a magical glow at night.Strolling through the grounds in a cool yukata or summer kimono while feeling the refreshing breeze is pure bliss!Every single corner is incredibly photogenic, making it the perfect place to capture beautiful, unforgettable memories 📷✨

Mitarai-gawa Ashitsuke Tomyo Shinji (Foot-Dipping & Candle Ritual)

This is a traditional ritual where you dip your feet into the refreshing waters of the Mitarai River inside the shrine grounds and light a candle to pray for good health and protection against illness.

The moment you step into the cool, clear stream, the summer heat instantly melts away—it is a truly refreshing and soothing experience!

Hatsuhoriyou (Offering Fee): 1,000 yen (Includes a Mitarai candle)

You can choose your favorite yukata and obi belt from over 100 varieties, including the latest trend designs! ♡

Everything you need to wear a yukata is included in the package, so you can come to our shop empty-handed!

Our shop is located in a super convenient area—just a 5-minute walk to Yasaka Shrine!

＜About Returning Your Rental＞

Same-day return is required by 5:30 PM.

However, for guests who want to enjoy the night views, we also offer Next-Day Return & Postal Return with NO extra charge!

• Next-Day Return: Please bring the outfit back to our shop by 12:00 PM (noon) the following day.

• Postal Return: Please ship the outfit back the next day so it arrives at our shop two days later. (Shipping fee must be paid by the customer).

※If you wish to use the Next-Day or Postal Return option, please inform our staff in advance for confirmation.
